Our Mission at Oley Valley Mennonite Church
As an Anabaptist-Mennonite faith community, we encourage our members to be the hands and feet of Jesus both in our local neighborhoods and world-wide. Our ministries include:
Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) - a worldwide ministry of Anabaptist churches, sharing Christ's love by giving material resources to those in need.
Mennonite Disaster Service (MDS) - a volunteer network of churches, responding to disasters in the U.S. and Canada by helping to clean up, repair, and rebuild homes while encouraging hope and faith.
Operation Christmas Child - partnering with Samaritan's Purse who distributes Christmas Shoeboxes, filled by churches to children in need throughout the world.
Oley Valley Food Pantry - local churches working together to provide food to those in need in the Oley Valley community.
New Person Ministries - a Christ-centered ministry, working with men returning to society from incarceration.
