You are invited to connect with us by visiting Oley Valley Mennonite Church! Sunday mornings are a central part of our life together. We meet for gathered worship at 10:30am. This is a time of hearing God's Word, learning from Bible-based sermons, reflecting on our lives and Jesus' presence and call.
Our services begin with music and a welcome, followed by an inspiring sermon from God's Word that can be applied to our daily lives. There is an opportunity to share praises and prayer requests following the sermon. You will find that people are friendly and welcome visitors.
Fellowship Meals
1st Sunday of each month
We share a carry-in meal together following our Worship Service on the 1st Sunday of each month. We value this time of being together and encouraging each other. You are welcome to join us for delicious food and warm fellowship!
Bible Study
We often meet for Bible Study and prayer the 1st Sunday of the month, following the Fellowship Meal and the 2nd Sunday of each month, following a light meal. We find it meaningful to study the Bible together. During 2022 we completed a study of the Gospel of Matthew, I, II, & III John, and the Epistle of Jude. You are welcome to join us in our study anytime.
Special Services & Community Outreach
Special Worship Services are planned as we approach Christian holidays, including Maundy Thursday, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and others.
We enjoyed sharing a Drive-thru Live Nativity with our local community again this year in December. We look forward to providing other outreach events in 2023.
